It could have been much worse. We could have Kerry for President.
Yeah, but somehow I doubt whether Heinz ketchup would go up to $80 a barrell like oil now is. NOt that the two are related. It seemed funnier in my head. Har har.
Bush, the Republicans, the Democrats, the Independents and Green Party’s have NOTHING to do with the price of oil. It is simply supply and demand, the cost of production and delivery, and many other economic factors that determine the price per barrel. And part of the economic factor is competition. So until we come up with some alternative fuel that is both economic and efficient, or we start new wells at home, we will continue to pay the other guy the high prices. And the pump price will not come down to the below the two dollar level per gallon ever again. Besides, it irks me that OUR oil is below THEIR sand.
